Mos Def & The Robert Glasper Experiment

REAL MUSIC!!!

Last night, I got to check out The Robert Glasper Experiment with Speacial Guest Lupe Fiasco at Blue Note-NYC . Cameo appearances by Mr. West and Mos Def were a delightful and exciting treat to say the least!! They played some Lupe tunes like "Kick Push" and "I'm Beaming", but the freestyle between the band, Lupe, Mos, and Kanye was MAGICAL!!! This was by far one of my favorite shows! A very special thank you to my roommate Vasha for inviting to a special evening. REAL MUSIC!!!

John Galliano Suspended from Dior

Galliano has reportedly been suspended from Dior, after allegedly verbally assaulting a couple sitting at an outdoor cafe in Paris. According to French police sources, Mr. Galliano made anti-Semitic remarks towards the couple who were sitting at a nearby table. The facts are not all too clear yet, but I'm sure we will be hearing more soon~

For Gucci's A/W 11 Collection Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, was inspired by "a lady of mystery and irony who dresses with cinematic allure and strong seductive power..."

She then decided to invite them BACK TO THE FUTURE and carefully recreated these childhood photos using the same details and reenacted by the original subjects. How awesome is this?
